As a talk radio Host, Hal Turner is considered a "public Figure" under the Law. This means he is subject to public criticism, commentary and being talked about; over which Mr. Turner has no legal control and no legal recourse. One such situation involves Mr. Turner being mentioned on Web Sites owned by others.

It has come to the attention of Mr. Turner and his staff that "The Hal Turner Radio Show" is being actively mentioned and even promoted on web sites operated by a number of groups. Some of these groups espouse virulent views, as is their right.

Despite repeated requests to have mention of Mr. Turner deleted from such web sites, the site operators have refused. They have responded that Mr. Turner is a "public figure" and as such, they are free to speak about him.

This being the case, Mr. Turner feels it necessary to - and hereby does - DISCLAIM AND REPUDIATE any affiliation with or support of such groups. Their mention of Mr. Turner and his radio program on their web sites is being done without permission and despite repeated requests for removal.

The Hal Turner Radio Show is - and will continue to be - a forum for people to freely express their opinions on a variety of topics; including in advertising. We accept advertising from almost anyone on almost ANY topic. Some such advertising may be offensive. It is our belief that free speech applies to everyone and we try to apply that ideal to the advertising we accept.

It is important to understand that views, opinions or advertisements aired during The Hal Turner Show do not necessarily reflect those of Mr. Turner, or his staff. Thank you.
